Portadores de Antorcha is a part of Torchbearers International, founded over 50 years ago by Major Ian Thomas at Capernwray Hall in England. Today, there are over 21 Bible schools and conference centres in 13 different countries. Rio Vida is one of the newest conference centres in Europe and a continuation of the ministry of Torchbearers in Spain which began in 1968 at Mar Cristalino in Valencia. Our goal is to be a resource to individuals, churches and Christian ministries in proclaiming the Gospel and Life of Jesus Christ.

Rio Vida is just a short walk away from the "Playa de San Juan", a beautiful beach on the Mediterranean Costa Blanca, a short bus or train ride from the city of Alicante and 25 minutes away from the Alicante international airport.

We have accommodation for up to 30 people with outdoor terraces, a private swimming pool, a small football pitch, and a recreational room with a ping pong table, fussball table, mountain bikes, a windsurf, snorkelling equipment, fishing poles and other beach equipment.
