Theo Tesfaye returned to Ethiopia 14 years ago after having spent 7 years in the UK, including Bible school at Capernwray. Church growth and agriculture were both close to his heart; both have transpired as he has preached Christ and pruned apple trees! Mark Thomas was a guest at Theo and Selam’s wedding in the Southern Highlands of Ethiopia. It was no ordinary celebration—take the traditions of an East African nuptial and mix them with imported cultures from western countries and innovative ideas from another planet (Theo always said he was from Mars when he trained in England!) and they combine to make one fascinating event. Praise the Lord for His blessing on these two lives, now one in Christ, and for all who know Theo we pray that he with Salem will continue to be sharers of His life in the great opportunities there are in that part of Ethiopia. |
