Capernwray Hall News Spring 04

Danielle, Irina and Robert are all currently studying with us at the Hall, thanks to the Torchbearer Trust Fund. We asked them to share a little about who they are and their experiences of Bible School.

	Danielle Castellon At 5:43pm on March 5, 2003 I received a letter of acceptance from Capernwray Bible School to come as a sponsored student for nine months. I was asked to get ready to come to England. I knew that this was an answer from God. My name is Danielle Castellon, I am 23 years old and I was born in La Paz, Bolivia, South America. My family has been blessed in so many ways. One of the ways is through me being able to come here to Capernwray Hall. We don?t have the resources to pay for such an amazing opportunity. This place is where I have had an encounter with the Lord. I came here with the seed in my heart, Capernwray has watered it and the Lord is making it grow. I am thankful to God for giving me the opportunity of being here and for letting me learn more about Himself. I am also so thankful to all His servants at Capernwray for listening to God?s voice and opening the doors for me. I am sure that God brought me from a distant land not only to show me the beauty of His creation, but also the beauty of His own heart.
	Robert Lundi I am Robert Lundi from Kenya, which is in East Africa. I was so delighted when I got a scholarship to come to Capernwray Hall and for me it was an answer to prayer. Coming from Kenya to be part of the student body at Capernwray, I have experienced God's move in my life. I have especially felt this in the area of learning to depend on Him rather than on my gifts and talents, and also in developing a deeper relationship with God. Honestly, I have felt God speaking to me in a specific area of my life which I had not surrendered to Him. I can say that God is here and transforms lives here. The lectures are good and very uplifting and I know which way God is directing me. All I can say is my time here has been great, and I know I will never forget the nine months I have been here. I just want to thank all who gave so that I can have this time with the Lord in England. The Lord will reward you greatly for your generosity. "God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them" Hebrews 6:10
	Irina Mashtaler Hello! My name is Irina and I am from the Ukraine. I have been spending one of the most exciting times in my life at Capernwray Bible School. This is a perfect place to know God more and to be with Him more closely. Everyday, I receive spiritual feeding from interesting lectures, where I am studying God?s word and His will in my life. I am enjoying every moment of my time here. When I get up, when I spend time with my friends and learn about different cultures, when I read the Bible and pray or when I simply go to the swimming pool and rest... So, when I go to bed I feel so happy inside. But especially, I enjoy my quiet time. If it's not raining I like spending this time outside. Capernwray is such a beautiful place and nature is all around you, it makes me amazed at how marvellous our God the Creator is. And, I am so thankful to the staff at Capernwray and to all the people who support the sponsorship program for the great blessing and opportunity to be here. May God richly bless you.
